Continuing Education
The Continuing Education Committee is a vital part of the SDPA Organization. The CE committee strives to assess the training interests and needs of SDPA members on an ongoing basis. The Committee continues to provide access to low-cost training courses necessary for insuring that our members continue to develop professionally in the interest of providing quality services to the public. Courses presented are timely, relevant and culturally sensitive to the diverse population served by our members and offer continuing education courses which satisfy the requirements for licensure and re-licensure by the California Board of Psychology. In addition to the many courses offered throughout the year, the CE Committee hosts the SDPA Annual Conference. This is an excellent opportunity for our members to obtain CE credits, visit with colleagues and network. Glance at the Calendar of Events for upcoming courses.
The San Diego Psychological Association (SDPA) is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The San Diego Psychological Association maintains responsibility for the program. This course meets the qualifications for CE credit for MFTs and /or LCSWs as required by the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Unless otherwise specified, CE courses are held at the the SDPA office.
